How to Find Us
Chalong is a community in the southern part of Phuket island. The area is mostly residential, with many small shops along the main roads. The main shopping centres in Chalong are Tesco-Lotus plaza and Home Pro Village, which has a Villa Market, home products centre and several restaurants. The main tourist site is Chalong Pier, a major launching point for dive boats and speedboat day tours to nearby islands.
Chaofa West Suites, Phompassorn, Chaofa West Residence and Chaofa West Pool Villas are all found along the road leading to the Big Buddha in a Thai village 1.5 km north of Chalong Circle, about 200 metres west off Chaofa West Road (Route 4021). Our apartment rooftops offer spectacular views of the Big Buddha and surrounding hills, as well as Chalong Bay in the distance.
Here in Moo Baan 10, you’ll find local Thai life without the hassle and expense found in the tourist areas. There are some crowing chickens, barking dogs and the occasional firecracker festival that are an unavoidable part of life in a Thai village — but overall Chalong is a peaceful, safe and enjoyable place to live.
Fitness and yoga centres, the main pier for dive boats, several supermarkets and excellent restaurants are all easily reached in a short drive, and there are some good local rice and noodle shops and mini-marts within a few minutes’ walk of our apartments.
If you’re on foot, local transport (bus, motorbike taxi, tuk tuk) is available on the main road 200 metres away, or we can arrange taxi service for you. We also have motorbikes available for rent.
